Instrumentation Technician

Recognized for its technical innovation and environmental focus, Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. manufactures premium printing, writing, and digital papers and is currently looking for an Instrumentation Technician for the day shift.  Based upon assessment, starting pay will be $29.95 or $31.30 per hour. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be evaluated with the opportunity to advance to the rate of $36.00. Mohawk is now offering the opportunity to progress to the newly established position of E/I specialist. The day shift is normally scheduled 7AM – 3:30PM, with rotating weekends and double-time pay for Sundays. An Associate’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or related experience is preferred.

The successful applicant must possess the following skills and abilities: installation, troubleshooting, repair and tuning of pressure, temperature, level and other process control loops/systems. Experience with programmable controllers (PLC’s) and hydraulic equipment is preferred.
