Still Novel is a photo print company created by Tiffany Peña and Edyn Elliott-Barber. The two women realized when they had kids that creating photo albums online was an arduous process, and even though they had backgrounds in art and design, they were unhappy with the quality of what they were able to put together even after putting in lots of time.

Inspired by high-end publications like Kinfolk, they both agreed—there was room to create something better.

Enter Still Novel: a woman-owned tech company driven by design.

Rather than starting with a blank slate, they created an interface that invites customers to put specific information into a guided form, which then returns an art print. They have multiple styles to choose from, and you can create prints for birthdays, anniversaries, and travel. Customers have also gotten creative, using the service for memorials and leading the women to plan for a memorial line sometime in the future. They also offer a gallery wall service that helps people choose other art prints that they can hang in a cluster as home decor. There’s plenty of growth in the future for Still Novel, including an expansion into photo books that they’re currently working on.

“One thing we’ve learned through this process is how much people value design in their homes—being able to see, touch, and feel beauty.”
Tiffany Peña
Co-Founder, Still Novel

Still Novel has been on Mohawk Superfine (Beautiful Collection) from the beginning. Tiffany and Edyn say they’ve been taken aback by the emotional reaction to their products, and by the way that customers are impacted by seeing their most special moments reflected as high-end art prints on beautiful paper.

It comes as no surprise to us though, considering Beautiful Collection papers inspire great design and printing with their superb formation, lush tactility, and timeless appeal. For more inspiration on Beautiful Collection papers, check out "Make a Memory."

Make a Memory

"Make a Memory" tells the story of Lost Art Salon, a San Francisco-based gallery specializing in the rediscovery of historically significant artists who have been lost to time. Lost Art Salon curates fine art-unique paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and objects—from lesser-known artists who co-owners Gaetan Caron and Rob Delimiter find historically and aesthetically significant.

"Make a Memory" weaves the narrative of Lost Art Salon alongside a breakdown of the attributes that make the Beautiful Collection of papers, specifically Mohawk Superfine, the only suitable paper to tell this story due to its unique properties.

"Make a Memory" is printed on Mohawk Superfine, Eggshell, Softwhite, 80 Cover and demonstrates metallic ink, dense blacks, and 4 color-process along with stunning artwork.
